As an American, knowing that he comes from the hoods of Bakersfield, and being a landlord in that horrible town...I am proud. To know that this beautiful voice, spirit, love, grace and talent comes from such a place. I listen to him every day and he gives me hope.

2014 Gregory gets better and better. A voice to fall in love with when he is completely himself. We began listening to Gregory early, early at St. Nicks and have loved watching him grow and expand musically. Thank you Gregory, don't forget about your first fans. We love you.

I am usually sleep by 9:30 PM,However, a friend? told me about the SINGER, Gregory Porter and I am still up - it is now 1:15 AM - need I say more...somebody owe me some zzzzzz> I think I will have to unplug this computer to order to get some sleep..Great Voice, Great singer, Great songs Great Band Good night Mr. Gregory Porter!

@@Afrobluee The "pied piper" - Man you could not be more on point!! This brother sang to my soul; my heart warmed and I felt like pure music still both has life and a future!! Porter live is AN EVENT!! Go see him when you can ... his voice and stage presence - man what a musician!! (Sept 9, 2021 10:01 PST) This is my 5th night - not all in a row - but I can not seem to grow tired of listening to his velvet voice.

Watching this video to refresh my memory of a wonderful concert last night at the Lowry theatre in salford Quays Manchester when Gregory Porter played to a full house who gave him a standing ovation. Great guy.

I just learned about Greg Porter and his band and his music from watching a youtube video from the Monaco Boat show....luckily for me they gave credit to this outstanding musician in the closing credits....now I have a new voice to listen to. I'll be buying his music tommorow...thanks youtube!
