Ambulance 16 is a 2011 International 4300 / Horton, Engine 16 is a 2018 Pierce Arrow XT and Tower Ladder 3 is a 2018 Seagrave Aerialscope.

The “ooh-wah, ooh-wah” siren (it’s the only way I can describe it 🤪) at the :47 second mark on Tower Ladder 3 ...to my ears (and eyes? 😆), seems to be really popular with fire apparatus on the east coast. Is there any specific reason for it that you can explain to me? I have heard a lot of sirens in Chicago and the suburbs where I live and “travel” to, and I can’t say that I’ve ever heard it on any apparatus here in the area.

It’s called a powercall or warble, it’s kind of tradition and it’s unique; therefore, eye catching

It is called a Powercall. That tone is used in the East Coast / Mid Atlantic Region.

@@md_randoms2429 they may not be branded as a “powercall” but it sure sounds like one. You may not like it but the fundamental pattern of the siren is the same
