New subscriber from 🇺🇸 with Caribbean heritage (Barbados and Trinidad and Tobago) my father’s mother. I’m starting with your first video. I’ve done AncestryDNA, I have African ancestry from West, East, North and South, as well as Native American, Scotland, Ireland, Germany and Iberian Peninsula. I am interested in visiting Grenada, have been to many Caribbean island countries. Are you a tour/history guide in Grenada? If not, can you recommend someone? Thank you. 🙏🏽 🍍 💫

Its. A pity the elder still isnt totally aware of who is, nor does he totally identify with being an African, imaging him believing that having his colonizer's french name makes him part french

Some ppl names derive not from their plantation or estate owners surname. Some surnames are derived from relation whether it was consensual or not, alot of us are by products of mixed unions.
