After watching the episode i must say i was happy to see Mazinger Z standing his ground against the vega saucer and at the same time seeing him getting defeated by them sure hurts a lot. One thing is for certain though and that is that this Mazinger Z is not prepare to combat them even if it held his ground against the vega saucers and 1 vega saucer beast mazinger Z is far more weaker (due to possibly the mikene events never happened therefore no great Mazinger which means no New Alloy Z been made and the power up he gets during that time). I assume that Mazinger Z will be getting upgraded over time while they study Grendizer's schematics and incorporate some of its technology into Z to make him stronger.

I have a feeling that, in this universe, Mazinger Z is going to become Great Mazinger.

If he becomes or they make Mazinkaiser then its pretty much been reference to the infinitisim short novels, in that story Kaiser is born from koji combining the technology of both Grendizer and the Mazingers which in turn it makes Mazinkaiser which is capable to travel into time and space. I dont think we will see Mazinkaiser, but i do think Mazinger Z will be upgraded by analazing Grendizer and the Spazers to make him stronger. Probably either koji creates the new alloy z, Alpha Alloy Z or uses the gren alloy to make Mazinger Z far more stronger.

That's exactly why Mazinger Z lost. He probably even lacks some weapons it had back in 1973 (iron cutters and drill missles) also yeah no upgraded armor. The pilot's skill could get the win but a 2v1 was too much. Perhaps Mazinger Z from the movie could have held its ground better thanks to increased size and other upgrades. Currently, the Mazinger Z in the Grendizer U series is completely inadequate against Vega Saucers

@@mazinger_mol5879 That is true, in fact the 3 professors from the photon lab are no where to be seen but Prof Umon (dukes adopted father in the old show) works there instead on his own lab. Prof Mori mori was the one that made the Iron Cutters and as well all 3 Professors made the reinforcement of the Rocket Punch, heck i just realize that Shiro and Boss is no where as well so i assume in this universe they don't exist either. Now it makes me question on this story if Dr Hell existed or is he alive still or dead and what we saw with the hell goons are just surviving forces that turn into criminals or they're terrorist.

So, considering we know the Spacers will be in the series, and since Mazinger is also in the new series and i don't see Koji ditching it, i assume Sayaka will be the Double Spacer's pilot in this series?

敵の攻撃を腕で受け止めたりしてるから超合金Zはこの敵に対してもかなり強力な水準で、ただ薄目であろう飛行用の翼や関節部が狙われたと。　BFを防いだエネルギーバリアと首を引きちぎる動作からして動力は光子力より優れている設定なのかもね。

Strange how the Vega saucers had to resort to ripping the head off the body. The Battle Beasts Great Mazinger faced could go through the Super alloy Z, but apparently the Vega saucers can't. Still, Mazinger Z could use some improved armor (and maybe better joints so it doesn't get dismembered again?)

The rookie Koji Kabuto and still nerfed form of mazinkaiser if the lore still apply in this series then yes it's very balance story indeed !!!!!!!!!😮

でもいずれ「マジンガーZ」が負けてグレンダイザーに切り替わるのだろうが、マジンガーＺの負けるところは観たくない。せめて後半に「マジンカイザー」が出るというのはどうだろうか・・・？

これ明らか旧式として描かれてるし、スペースダイザーがさやかさんっぽいし、再登場の余地あるで。カイザーがでるかは怪しいけど…（マジングレート本編みたいに素材だけ変えたマジンガーzがでるかも。）
