Every character can release their shield only on frame 4 meaning that you can imput a parry as fast as frame 4 for some reason greninja has the only side b that you can do out of shield and you can even do it on frame 1, which counts as releasing your shield and you can actually parry on frame 1

You don't have to parry in order to shadow parry. You just have to input Shadow sneak at the right moment
