So when I opened my box she was the first foil I got & I’ve already built a deck for her I call it Gretta’s Grocery list. She’s so strong as a food/token commander

The best part is adding counters to Marionette Master… just keeps adding to the power and doing more damage. Great finisher in the deck.

I just build a Gretta Deck. I leaned a bit more into the food as well as removal/graveyard fun. Also more landramp over mana/dork ramp.

This deck is "Sweet"! Definitely something I can sink my teeth into.

all my gretta deck does is summon creatures that give you food tokens and sac those tokens to ping everyone, tho culling ritual might be a great surprise aoe mass nuke since i have so many on death triggers... i need another drivnod, carnage dominus

5:29 Are you sure that’s how that works? I thought because they were all replacement effects they’d all essentially replace the original effect to create a token, a food, a squirrel, and then a food clue and treasure. I think it all happens at the same time but I’m also no judge.

I think there is a better order for the Academy Manufacturer example. Their example : Food > treaser+clue > food > 4 Squirrels But if Peregrin goes first: Food > food > 2 treasers+clues > 6 Squirrels Does that sound right?

Wait im so confused on the confectioner/took combo. First of, wouldn't you only draw one card when you sac the 3 foods and not 3 since thats what he says. And secondly since Took's text says when you create one OR more, you would only create one food token when you creat multiple rats at once since you also sac the 3 foods at the same time. Or does it see the 3 sacrificed foods as 3 individual triggers for the rats? If so, then yeah it's an infinite.

I tried this deck. I needed culling ritual. Drew a bunch of cards got the ritual and got 86 mana. I won that game

wont gyome be better as a commander though? he generates foods per turn if creatures enter the battlefield, also gives indestructible for the cost of 1 mana and a food, not to mention he can tap creatures

Not a 100% sure but I would think Academy Manufactor would replace Peregrin Took's replacement. Meaning you create the initial food and manufacturer splits that into the 3. Took sees that you're making 1 or more tokens and adds a food to it. Manufacturer sees the new food and splits it into the 3 types. Meanwhile chatterfang is over in the corner seeing all this birthing squirrels trying to keep up. Maybe I'm wrong though. Maybe manufacturer doesn't replace took's replacement idk. Rules lawyers out there let me know please
