If I told you this was written in 1979, many haters would be loving it. It’s got a legit classic rock vibe and it’s refreshing to see in today’s garbage music scene.

@@bucs817 Nobody can say they’re copying anything when they’re original to their own art. All they’re doing is bringing back the use of actual instruments into the mix other than these digitalized and overly popularized and messed with sounds of the modern music “culture” that give no performance just like everyone else. Quite frankly, I don’t think they’re about to act how everyone else does from unthought hate out of people like you. So if we’re going to say they’re copying anything, they’re not and you should realize the era you’re washed up in because I don’t claim it. Sorry for everyone offended but these are unearthed tunes from heart that GVF is making, so let’s all appreciate it or get out.

Lost the love of my life 5 days ago. 30 years together. We both were strictly classic rock fans. Wasn't able to even think about listening to music for few days. Yes, Luke and Yoda may have had green lightsabers (In Episode VI). But Luke soon developed his own way of being a Jedi. I feel like that's what Greta Van Fleet were trying to do with _Anthem of the Peaceful Army._ They still showcase their influences in it, but are, at the very least, trying something a little different with them. I've heard a lot of great rock music from other bands from 2018, but I also like Greta Van Fleet's 2018 effort as well.

Songs like this one are the reason i listen to rock radio, station pending, religiously. I'm not looking for the next Led Zep, ACDC, Crue, genre breaker etc or whatever, I'm just looking for good tunes man; One at a time, and they're out there. This song is proof of it! For every time a moment goes as planned, 100 go by that don't. The same can be applied to good tunes, you gotta sort through the shit and find what you're looking for. Life's short and you only get to do it once; Live for that 1 moment mother fucker, or die.

Got alot of proof on there etc. But regardless she knows deep down..and when i lool at her pic i can see may family facial features. She almost looks like my brother lmao they never even met i might add but siblings and parent and on have certain features u know they are related mostle at a glance. . hearing this song made me realise we had awesome times in the beginning but booze clouded that in the end sadly...ty for sharing ur comment...im gonna get on the ball and hire a family lawyer ..ty again

John Johnson Well, they’re still new and getting their footing as well. Most of the more iconic bands didn’t exactly nail it on the first try either. What makes me happy more than anything is knowing the old style of classic rock isn’t completely dead. It seems to have splintered into different kinds of genres like metal and punk rock somewhere along the line, and while I do love those for what they are, as someone that grew up on his parents old cassettes blasting music from Zepplin and Springsteen and Queen... Well, none of those guys are getting any younger, and it’s been a long, _long_ time since I’ve found any new bands that reminded me of that style. What I like about these guys is that when I listen to them, I feel like I’m a kid again, popping those tapes in for the first time. And to have someone that can take me back there and not just feel like a cheap imitation? That’s definitely something.

This song in my opinion sounds like a classic rock bands ballard. I really liked it the very first time I ever. In these music times. It's an absolutely masterpiece

A guy I briefly dated 22 years ago but back in touch with me and asked me out again... I'm over the moon! This song is making me think of him... ❤️

The first time I heard this song, I thought it was a 70s classic rock hit that I'd somehow missed. I was shocked to find out that it's a contemporary song. Love that these guys have embraced that classic rock sound. They are fantastic!

i dedicate this song to the man who i thought would be the love of my life. he has moved on and found a girl who makes him much happier than i did, sadly, but ill never forget going 60 in his little jeep blasting this song and looking at him smile as he sang along.

Two years ago today i had open heart surgery at age 35. This song got me threw the tough times post surgery. It really changed my outlook on recovery. Listening to it with my kids this morning and crying our faces off.

A young friend put me on to this band. I am a child of the 60s and 70s and I am lways there is no true rock n roll being made these days But this band has brought it back and I hope they continue. I have really enjoyed listening to their songs today. Lead singers voice is reminiscent of Ronnie James Dio.

I was driving around town blaring 105.1 in my hometown and I thought, "What the hell? This sounds like classic oldie's rock to me..." and I INSTANTLY fell in love with the sound. Please keep this sound!!! I dig it so damn hard.
