Actually people silently suffering while lying low for whatever reasons there are, is all too common in the corporate world. She at-least seems to have spoken up. Losing the job was the trigger, but I truly, highly doubt that she is lying. There are MANY that silently settle, and will speak up if at all, as an addendum, after the fact (like those 6 women that went to her lawyers).

Basic common-sense rule says that if you have to sue for money, sue the one entity that is most obvious. Mr.Pigman's net worth is only 25 million (wikipedia), while Fox News' net revenue is somewhere in the billions. This anchor woman was already making her salary close to a million per annum. She isn't going to get much from Ailes (per what she makes). Pretty obvious you think?

Did you ever work in big corporate companies? Do you know the kind of power some of these pigmen wield? If she quit either way, her career is FINISHED. No other major news network will ever hire her. And she goes from making multi-millions to nada. So, women like her desperately hang-on 'until' it gets intolerably bad. When you make a small salary, it is easy to quit randomly. With multi-million paychecks, not so easy. The problem is less severe in technology companies because they have very specific skills and are not easy to replace. Other competitors will be happy to absorb them in no time. But this is in journalism..

Her lawyers are trying to evoke a jurisdictional clause in her contact that provides for arbitration but she has decided to sue Ailes directly - she could have sued Fox under her employment contract and claimed massive damages but she has decided to sue him personally and take it to a Jury.
