Never seen it done by stripping one side of the partridge feather. Does it help stop the stem breaking? Happens sometimes with me when I'm tying it in

I cut one side of the Partridge with scissors instead of stripping it by hand John. As you say it stops the stem breaking. 👍

@@RoswellSocorro thanks for that, great bit of knowledge. I tie them a lot so that will make my tying a bit easier
