Love this focus on one army. I hope you guys do all of the armies this way.

Im currently debating on a 3 Paladin, 3 Interceptor and 2 Purifier list, with 2 Purgation squads and a Land Raider. Purifying Flame is just such a strong spell, that could deal a ton of damage in the second turn. Just put the Paladins and Purgation squads in deepstrike, drop them turn two, disembark the Purifiers and then start melting everything with Psycannons and psychic.

Would love to see a Dark Angels video. Both Ravenwing and Deathwing are very good after the balance data slate.

Would be cool for an admech version, with kataphrons being core and Veteran Cohort being no more it could be fun to see what they can do

I just got totally blasted by Votan. Not enough firing power, not able to get into cqc fast enough. Ok I had "only" 20 interceptors, but Kaldor, Librarian and 4 NDK were not even close to "enough". Turn 4 we were 80 for him and 14 for me...

i dont know about that eldar of late were able to get more mortals off though i had protection against it, thank god.

With the damage output of so many weapons being able to one shot a dreadknight, they will still sit on the sidelines for me for now. Infantry seems the real way to go for Grey Knights right now. Lots of highly mobile, flexible squads that trade better than your opponent.

NDKs: What the hell is an Armoire of Contempt? The new detachment is actually pretty amazing for GK, between getting 4 HQs and the Elite Character slots not eating your base Elite slots, there's a lot of flexibility. Paladins are in a weird spot now, the end of the Era of Contempt makes them squishy-er, but they still are a brick house with now-free special weapons and can still contribute; however, running 30 Interceptors gives you tremendous flexibility (Rapiers makes them crazy strong into almost any target), MW output is superb and still extremely useful into almost any opponent. GKs continuing weakness is secondaries. They will continue to be able to contest on Primary against anyone, but where do they look to compete with armies like Necrons who (even with nerfs) just have better options across the board? I think the end of the Era of Contempt is actually a significant improvement for GKs on-the-table capabilities (-1 AP ranged weapons are functionally usable again), and the points cuts are a nice bonus, but secondaries remain a struggle and will consign them to a middle table bully that rarely reaches final 8s.

I'm loving these "focused" vids for a single aspect of the game. As a Paladin and Terminator lover it REALLY annoys me that yet again both units have been completely shafted by the updates ESPECIALLY paladins.

@Tabletop Titans, I know everyone is saying interceptors, interceptors, interceptors... but is there any hope for Termies/Paladins in this new meta? Losing AoC hurts them arguably the most, but now you can bring nothing but Paladins or even more Termies. It looks like we'll just be reverting back to the old style list with triple dread and interceptor spam, but I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this.

So grey knights worse match up are Xenos factions per the data. It just means vs AoC factions same average of win/lose and they just lose harder vs Xenos factions…meaning they might just replace ad mech for being the worst

I still don’t get why being a psyker means +2 points compared to space marines. Yea cool, cast and deny one power. Magical. But 75% of the armies in the game have powerful psychic defence, get bonuses to psykers or score more points against psykers

Sorry y’all, GK are dead untill more balanced come out. We are balanced for low A tier if we have the Nephilim meta, but we are not buffed enough to compete with the new builds they we’ll be seeing. If you’re competitive, leave GK on the shelf

more like downs and downs the AOC was much needed, andwithout it makes armor feel like paper. power armor shouldnt be aped by every single gun.....

match ups improved? with loss of aoc? no? HA!HA! more like improved for anyone fighting them its crappy when say, adeptus mechanicus can get a 3+ and a 2+ on thier infantry and many eldar units too, and we cant ap them at all from range? whos bright idea was it to make a 20 or 30 mm missile that was explosive and automatic had ap in previous editons 0 ap, they really make marines work hard but xenos and unusual armies get buffs with no counterplay, or little of it, and we have to grind in the dirt for it. most of our wepons were already free, all we get free is really cheap and crappy big guns that really need to be remade psycannons in particular need the anti tank anti infantry buff make it one profile at st 8 ap2, 4 shots with some kind of rending, for 1 additional damage. and storm bolters should be ap1 minimum, there should also be a psybolt upgrade. for more points. but thats just my idea, cant have them be too versitle or too tactical....or make sense? if they were true to life like they should be they would have those additions, along with some other things, i am hoping 10th is much better for marines and gk in particular free wargear is a joke and a bandaid. that said as long as i fight ballanced lists i can do ok and even win, but against meta lists they wipe me off the board terminators or power armored units. something has to be done especially for our terminators i feel like they dont represent what a terminator is, and onley a small upgrade would be needed to help them. like a 4++ blessing save, and or, once per game teleport, they used to be able to use gate of infinity, but not anymore. power armor doesent feel like knights it feels like an army of slightly buffer genestealers, but genestealers even get a really good inv save, GW is giving good inv saves to really cheap things and crappy inv saves to elite things, that cost alot? doesent make much sense. for the elite of the elite.
