They were definitely my favorite characters on "Gray's Anatomy". The episodes after their characters' deaths are not nearly as good as those with them in it. That they became good friends back then is evident -- and I noticed he'd make her laugh by doing funny things here and there. I thought their romance should've been more emphasized on the show.

Season 17 is airing at the moment and I am just now watching Grey's Anatomy ... I started binge-watching it on Netflix just two weeks ago. I am on episode 4 of season 12 and there is no doubt, at all, that Izzie & George remain my favorite characters. George's death left me devastated and I cried for hours. Izzie's departure also had me in tears. There must be a place that George, Izzie & Alex still exist together ... even if it's in dreams.

george is my all time favorite character. t r knight plays him so well and if they were to somehow bring a dead character back with no hesitation i would want it to be george. i loved derek but the show isn’t incredibly different without him. george completed the show and after he left there was always a part of the show missing

@EC EC Katherine was reportedly very demanding on set. Sometimes she wouldn't come out of her trailer on time, holding up filming in the process. She took it upon herself to pull her name out of the running for an Emmy that year and made a brash statement about the show, without considering the feelings of anyone else. We all know Izzie's storylines were crap after season 3. Every cast member has had their bad storylines in the past. Katherine could have at least discussed it with writers/Shonda beforehand. She needed to get over herself. This isn't about Chyler Leigh and I'm not comparing apples to oranges. There was just no justification for her actions.

In the beginning of GA, I liked Isaiah as well, but HE was the one who used an offensive slur. Not Katherine or T.R. If Isaiah hadn't run off his mouth the way he did, he would still be on Grey's. Frankly, I don't have a lot of sympothy for Isaiah. He did this to himself.
