A DAY WITH THE BLUECOATS 2016
Grid Book follows The Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps percussion section on tour showing you a glimpse of what it takes to be a world champion.
Including Sectional Blocks, Visual Blocks, Music Focused Rehearsal, Full Ensemble, and the In The Lot warm up before the show, "A Day With The Bluecoats 2016" is a MUST SEE! With a high production value and educational annotations throughout, this film is just as educational as it is entertaining!

As of this year, the cleanest lines were SCV, Blue Devils, Boston Crusaders, the Cadets, and the Coats

It's crazy, cause when I was younger I watched and enjoyed the drums(snares, tenors) the most. But, I love watching the pit now. It's amazing how good these marimba players are these days.

Gotta say, I played snare for years. marched DCA, attempted to try out for crown and bluecoats barely didn’t make the cut with Crown and then couldn’t afford Bluecoats at the time(I’m 25 now), and haven’t played in 2 years. Videos like these that you’ve made has inspired me to get going again. I miss it so much! Thank you!⚒🙏🏻

Late season, early afternoon, indoor long warm-ups are the best. Easy on the body, everything's too loud to tell if it's clean, just enjoying the atmosphere. Awesome video.

This whole video helps me really appreciate this activity and the amount of time, skill and aptitude it takes to play this fast and clean. I really look up to these guys, and all the other dci lines. I'm working right now to get to this point with a dci line and I'm looking forward to taking part one day.

@@bread_girl_jane Never did. I ended up auditioning twice for the Cavies but felt my life leading me in a different direction. I still drum and enjoy following DCI but it's def a thing of the past!

If you never marched in a drum line in high school or college then you can’t have a true respect for what these guys do. It’s unbelievable. Especially the bass line. Sometimes I think they have the hardest job.
