Congratulations to New York Jets offensive tackle George Fant on being honored as a Hometown Hero at the 29th Annual #GridironGala. George has proven to be one of the Jets' biggest difference makers, in part, due to his elite pass protection. Off the field, the Bowling Green, Kentucky native is making a difference through the Fant Foundation, whose mission is to strengthen and uplift youth in the community through special events, including the 'Dream Big Camp' for school-aged children, a celebrity softball game, a turkey drive, financial wellness seminars, and much more. After Bowling Green was devastated by tornadoes last December, Fant raised over $30,000 to assist the victims and city in its initial recovery.
