Grieving the loss of my cat, and why I am adopting another one this week

I wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about the natural passing of my cat, Bella. The experience was very deep for me on so many levels, and renewed faith for me in my life choices moving forward. I also want to explain why I am adopting another feline familiar only a week after losing my best friend.

I too have a huge heart for animals. I live in big city, it breaks my heart to see the homeless sitting on a corner holding a sign and having a dog on a rope sitting with them. I always feel bad for the animals. I know the companionship is unimaginable. There is nothing like a loyal animal and the love they give. Thanks Kate for sharing a sensitive subject you have shown your heart and it’s beautiful. Cheers from the USA.

Thank you so much for the kind comment. I appreciate it a lot. Animals stay by our side no matter what. I feel really sad when I see animals in shelters bc they do not have a human to bond with. That must be so lonely. I know there are many more animals in my future and I am very excited to have have more space for that
