Just watched some of your 2007 videos. Nice to see how the channel (and I'm assuming the company) has grown in 10 years. Nice looking and well thought out weapons. I'll certainly consider them for my future purchases.

So how exactly do the holes in the "mre" vent out excess gas pressure and debris when its shouldered? And whats to keep FOD from entering in the other way?

For those commenting on the price, I just bought a MK1 Patrol 14.5" Carbine for $1,485. I believe that is a great price point for the weapon you're getting.

DimebagWuest yeah, value as in the features on this rifle are what you would see on a rifle from another manufacturer around the $2200-$2600 price point.

@S3cK5hun84 жыл бұрын
I was looking too since I just ordered their steel nitride bolt carrier group. all I know is it was 40 bucks cheaper than a Daniel defense that had considerably LESS finishing and treating. A 160 dollar nitrided bcg with stronger than mil spec grade steel or a simple mil spec phosphate finish for almost 200 before tax with a more sought after brand.. I hope I made a good choice.

@S3cK5hun84 жыл бұрын
@@jaredthompson8188 I want to see a review of the bcg along with their rifles. It's like they are so underground but have seemingly above average parts. Let's keep it that way because I think I may get one of their barrels and gas blocks now for less than what other companies are offering. Also sounds like their quality control is just as good.
@jaredthompson81884 жыл бұрын
@@S3cK5hun8 yea I wanted to either get their 11.5 upper or just build one with a rosco barrel kit
@S3cK5hun84 жыл бұрын
@@jaredthompson8188 I have a Spike's Tactical upper and lower, their enhanced lower parts kit and just ordered that bcg from Griffin like I said along with a radian raptor tungsten ambi charging handle. Spike's Tactical buffer tube kit as well. Now I just need a barrel and gas block, a handguard and sights and muzzle and I'm done. I should be done by Christmas.
@michaelpeters91417 жыл бұрын
So I did the math and for under $1400 I can build the same rifle using their parts and my stripped Mega upper/lower set. I don't see why it's $1795? Maybe because they put it together and stamp Griffin on the lower? I'd switch that barrel for a BCM the trigger for a Velocity or POF drop in and it'll still keep me under $1400 i just don't get it?

You’re doing the labor.

The rifle looks great. Feature set is strong. But at $1800 you're competing with Daniel and BCM, both known quantities. Why buy this rifle and not one of those? I'd also be mindful of marketing the gun as a "value driven" option. That implies a lower pricepoint in my eyes. The Springfield Saint is a "value driven" option. If you're gonna compete with the DD, BCM and LWRC-Di (being $300 cheaper than this), I'd recommend you emphasize the performance and features. . . Really does look nice though. Just one man's opinion after watching this unveling
@shcusmc7 жыл бұрын
William Sack none of the models you mentioned come standard with a nitride finished 416SS match barrel, DD guns don't come with iron sights, none come with ambi controls standard (I think some LWRC guns do actually), and none come suppressor ready, let alone with your choice of a silencer mount from Griffin Armament. It's value driven because it come standard with features competitive with rifle in the $2000-$2400 range.

Sam_Cummins Thanks! My question was genuine, not intended as trolling. I think that's a pretty thorough answer, the bulk of which I didn't fully put together from watching the video. It's a good lookin rifle, that's for sure

How are sub-16" barrels legal for non-mil/LEO use?
@GriffinArmamentOfficial4 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand your question. Firearms with a barrel less than 16" are categorized in a couple ways. The first, would be the 14.5" barrels which in the commercial market, typically have a muzzle device of the appropriate length pinned and have the pin welded in place. This permanent installation makes the installed muzzle device considered part of the barrel and the new OAL is over 16". The second category would be the "short barreled rifle" category of NFA controlled items. The third would be an AR pistol, many models these days sport the popular SB Tactical arm brace in place of the traditional collapsible stock,
