Saw this and remembered about when I made a geometry dash game, and it's still kind of unfinished. At least I had done a ship mode, but it's noticeable that colision was a blt weird, since before death the cube would clip into blocks(because I didnt know how to diferentiate colission with floor to collision with wall, so I just killed the player if he stayed inside for too long. This makes me want to go back to that project. Great video!

@@griffpatchthe episode was awesome! i also have a bug report on the 2023 cloud multiplayer tutorial! i narrowed it down and it appears when new players drop by in my game (scratch vibe) they wont make a clone of themselves and just use someones clone! it makes it look like they are teleporting! could you mind helping me. thank you!

Ok, I've found one bug - In the Cloud Engine Sprite, under "define Process Item", the second from last "replace item of PDATA" should be "replace item of PUIDs". You can see it can't be right because otherwise it would be replaced again by the very next replace item block below. This 2nd from last replace is setting a new player's id in the list, without that it can't know which player's data belongs to who! :)

Love your Tutorials here are some ideas for Part 6: 1. Customizable Icons 2. Orbs 3. Pause Menu 4. Selecting Levels Menu 5. Ship Gamemode 6. Secret Coins 7. Camera Shake On Death 8. Practise Mode 9. I'm having trouble at 10:34, the floor sprite, because when you say go down like 8 key arrows pressed--and that is 15 pixels per press (8x15)--my costume designs are different than yours so when I do it however many it takes to reach the bottom it either is too short or too far down or OCD-triggering mistakes.

I’m curious to see how you work out the pause menu, since there’s no way to actually pause audio in scratch, but I’m sure you’ll find out a way. You’ve probably found out more work-around than I have untitled levels.

btw u can make all the platforms go much below the bottom of the main part of the canvas, as long as u note down the number of pixels moved and insert that number into the minus operator

Something that's been bugging me since we added particles, was that once the particles hit the wall, they don't get deleted, they just get glued to the edge, and slide in a single direction, like at 3:28

16:42 I think you forgot to remove the white line on the floor when moving the level costumes, but anyways there is one visual bug that was bothering be with this, which is that the particles from the player don't scroll with the player. 18:59 and that vector ship portal is AMAZING, It looks super accurate to the game, I thought it was a PNG at first

How big did you scale them to? If they are bigger than the canvas area then they will get a little blurry. If not, then it sounds like they are not real vectors but images

Anything but 100 and 200 becomes blurry
