How To make Grilled Chicken Indian Style in a Microwave Oven
Spicy Grilled Boneless chicken in Grill Combination mode. in LG microwave oven.
Microwave Setting
Place the Marinated Chicken on the grill rack of your microwave oven
Set the Mode to Grill Combination
Temperature 180 degrees
Time 11 Minutes
Second Time
Mode : Grill Combination
Time 6minutes
Temperature 360 degrees
Once done remove the chicken from the oven to stop further grilling. This tastes very much like chicken tikka restaurant style

She said clearly that she grilled the chicken into the microwave. Some microwaves have a grill mode, some others don't. So check first if your microwave has a grill mode otherwise cook it with the classic kitchen oven

Prasanta Dey 30 mins. I have the same and it tastes amazing. You need to set the timer depending on the quantity of chicken you use.

I got it with my LG Microwave Oven..You can search for microwave tawa online...dont forget to read product description before buying it should go in microwave mode then only u will be able to use it in grill combi and convection combi modes....

No we should never use metal rack in microwave mode because microwaves can't pass through metal object and hence it remains uncooked

Grill combi mode 180 degrees...and second time grill combi mode 360...see the video for timing..

Grill mode and grill combi mode are differenrt....grill combi is a combination of grill n microwave....most of the microwave ovens have grill combination mode...thanks for your query...

@@shaondas4487 i also had that doubt...if ur using a LG convection type oven...press grill/combi button twice or thrice ...ul see the symbols of both grill nd microwave at the same time ...then press microwave button it will show temperature of abt 360 press it again nd again until it comes to 180 deg...enjoy ur dish!!

It wont be possible to attain the chared effect if the microwave does not have grill mode. You will be able to cook the chicken which you can further grill on a pan to get the grilled effect

Your marination is really good..but i am not satisfied with the cooking part, something is missing there. And how can one set temprature while grilling..!!? As grilling mode do not provide any option for temprature control..because that work on heating element, controlling of heat in that is not possible. Controlling of heat is only possible in micro or convection mode.

Aditi, ur so right! she doesnt know her mw from one end to the other! so many pple make this mistake as they dont bother to study the manual that comes wid it. she actually is referring to the watts setting in the mw, and calling it temp. u can see it in the digital display-- it shows 180w and later 360w clearly. (Temp setting is only in the convection mode) i wish these pple wud learn themselves first, get the facts right n then teach others.

If you're using the grill combo mode, then you shouldn't use a metallic rack / tray.

According to manual you can use metal rack in grill + micro combination. I think its because in combination, micro power is not that high ( max 360 w ), but I might be wrong.
