The year is 1999. The world is preparing for all computers to crash and all planes to fall simultaneously from the sky at midnight. Tensions are high. The young internet is awash with rumours of the impending apocalypse.
To help calm these fears, Games Workshop develops a calming and hopeful answer; Mordheim. Set in the year 1999 as well, the comet in the sky everyone thinks is a good sign, ends up creating an Annihilation/Roadside Picnic-esque zone where once the mighty titular Osterburk burg sat.
