The base this is on at the end keeps catching my eye. Looks like cork perhaps wedged in Milliput or something? Be great to get a tutorial on these they look amazing.

Interesting technique! I'd like to work up a kind of teal-er version for some grimdark grimy Alpha Legion.

Great idea. I recommend a metallic base coat of silver and then use contrast paint terradon turquoise over top. Or koxigor scale contrast. Both are similar teal. Just depends which u like x

Do you know any good tricks for getting rid of the line down the middle of the left pauldron ? Also have you ever found it to be worthwhile to prime something matt black and then do a zenithal with a gloss black before applying paints?

I’d recommend tamiya extra thin. For the pauldron. Apply a layer down the line. And as for the prime. It wouldn’t make any difference really what you put on, as the finish will only be what ever paint u put on top. Hope that helps thanks

I’m brand new to this hobby and I’m mocking up a 40k era XXth/Grey Knights spin off chapter. I need some tips to get real ethereal sorta bluey green look. I’ve taken notes from a couple of yours now.
