@@birch8109 ​ pretty dark was for a side project, she has said she wanted to release music under the “dark” character & this was just a way for her to release music away from the grimes name. I believe that era of music has ether evolved into this new album, it’s being saved for another project (very unlikely) or the most possible idea is that it’s scrapped. I think she wanted to put out a song because her last album wasn’t released & it was a way for her to put out music not tied with that last album. She’s doing what arca did with the kick albums & there’s going to be A LOT of demos & songs that don’t make the cut. Some of those songs will never be released & some won’t make it out of the demo phases that’s just how making music is. Sometimes making one song goes into making a whole different sound & idea & people need to understand why some demos & song never get released, they weren’t needed to be released

@@nashwagemakers PoG anf Shinigami did fine I think. The biggest reason why we havent gotten BOOK 1 is because she doesn't want to release it. BOOK 1 was supposed to come two/three years ago but she had problems with her label and it got delayed and now she is labeless but she still doesn't want to release it because she feels its too old.

@aeas09 if she produced it under the label then there's a HUGE chance her old label litterally owns the entirety of the recorded book one
