This song when she performs it live, almost sounds like a siren drawing me into my own headset, forcing me into a mesmerizing rest as she sings. In a nutshell, Grimes is love, Grimes is life.

Haunting. Beautiful. I love her. And I think she's a musical genius.

Grimes is the most talented and unique artist around today. She is also incredibly adorable.

I once took a nap with my Grimes playlist on and this song sunk into a dream with bombs, gunfire and anarchy in the streets of Barcelona. It was horrifying and I can't believe I'm saying this, but it was even more beautiful and moving. I finally saw her live at Sasquatch this year and it changed my life.

Claire Elizabeth Boucher is my favorite artist. I first heard her music as a filler between segments of an NPR program I was listening to while I was driving from the company I was assigned to, back to my apartment when I was stationed on Fort Stewart, in the state of Georgia back in 2016. I looked up that song, which was Genesis, and then when I found Grimes' music I instantly fell in love. I'm no longer in the army but her music became quickly a very passionately loved part of my love for music in general. I am happy that I also had a chance, since I have lived in the state of Washington since 2017, that I visited KEXP and got the opportunity to feel a sense of full circle connection.
