Finally someone talking about Grimm’s Hollow.

Grimm's hollow has a special place in my heart, it's really fun though it's short, I don't mind (kinda played it again and again). The ost is a real banger mostly the battle music, and how I love the art style. It's also one of the game that hit me hard, smack me on my face, and punched me on my heart, emotionally with plenty of melancholy. The game that hit hard before OMORI did

If you'd like another FANTASTIC RPG Maker game, though a slightly older one, I highly recommend The Last Dream. It's basically a love letter to Final Fantasy, complete with knock-off Chocobos. I love the music used, too. It's a really odd but somehow fitting mix of classical and indie punk stuff. I use the boss theme as my alarm on my phone, and the boat theme! It starts off so exploring and adventurous, but quickly becomes this guitar heavy power theme that's just amazing.

I absolutely ADORED this game, and I was so happy when I saw this video get posted nearly a year after I played it. I had no idea there were multiple endings. This game was so special, and I'm so glad to see it highlighted and get the appreciation it deserves.

Just finished it.... I really enjoyed the cute, charming art and somber story around such morbid themes, with the combat being really solid and the soundtrack great enough to listen to on its own. The only negatives being that it felt slightly buggy and had weird frame stutters. That aside, awesome game! My favorite moment was the buildup to the baker's "face" reveal (before I felt betrayed lol).

Thank you for making this video! I was already making my own review for this game, but you've already made one that far out-does what I could ever do. This game deserves so much more attention and I'm so happy it's been receiving the attention that it deserves!

When I played Grimm's Hollow, I unfortunately ran into a softlock in a battle, where the enemies buffed and healed themselves to an amount where I couldn't possibly win anymore I haven't touched it ever since, because I haven't saved long before, but I should probably go back at some point

People pretty much sleep on the games made with RPG Maker, specially the western ones. I've found so many gems made with that engine that are pretty much unknown due to how unknown RPG Maker is by the general public. (Well, I also gotta admit most RPG Maker games are underwhelming or awfully boring. Only a few manage to be actually good). PS: Play "Aria's Story"

Found this on steam a while back and played it, got all 3 endings in about 12-24 hours of gameplay I can’t remember (I spent like a few months between getting the good ending and the best ending) Would recommend Edit: I actually only got the worst ending, second best ending, and best ending, I never knew about the ending where you lose after filling the skill tree

I actually really like bad ending #2. hear me out. Im a pretty emotianal person (too emotional) and how theres NO dialogue at this ending before it shows 2 graves actually touched me (a bit too much). Aside form the baker being alive its as it should be. when you are dead you are dead. also this is the ONLY ending were the 2 siblings stay together

yesterday i finish the game got the bad ending but i was not okay with the outcome i got so went back and got the beast ending

This game is good, however I do want some things that could be changed if I could: Some enemy combinations are annoying as shit, they aren't hard, it just takes unfathomably long, way longer than it should be. Maybe I just need to "get good" but I just think that the battles should be shorter. I feel like there could have been more variants to different ghosts, some of them just have different colors and altered stats. Maybe some unique sprite and new attacks. These are just some pet peeves I have with the game, just keep in mind I have little to no experience with game dev. Otherwise, it's a pretty dope game.

For the fandom files can you do dreamsmp?? I'm deep in the fandom but PLEASE LOL MY FANDOM SUCKS
