Love your videos! FYI. I'm a mortician. Those are caskets. No one uses the archaic term coffin anymore. We also store our casket's vertically. It saves space. Also, those flies are called crypt flies. When a body is entombed it is usually placed in a gasket sealed casket. Then it's placed onto a plastic tray inside the crypt. Usually, but, not always the crypts have ventilator fans. As the body decomposes it produces methane gases called mercaptans or thiols. The fans are supposed to cause a negative draft so visitors won't notice the smell of decomposition. Sometimes, even though the decedent has been placed in a hermetically sealed casket, bodily fluids will leak from the casket and that's why the plastic trays are there. Back to those those cute, little crypt flies. They love to feed on decomposed remains. They will lay their eggs on the body and within about a month they will hatch and you'll see them flying around the mausoleum. Ain't nature wonderful?

The original "Psycho" is still my favorite horror movie today & it's all because of Anthony Perkin's portrayal of Normal Bates. He was perfect for the role & I loved watching him scare many generations. lol Thank you for focusing on a wonderful entertainer that died far too young.

My friend won tickets to see a sneak peak of Psycho III back in the 1980's. We went together. They had a raffle before the movie and I won a Psycho III shower radio. I spilled my popcorn getting up to claim my prize, much to the laughter of the entire theater. Still, it was a great memory, and I really enjoyed the film.

I recall one of Hitchcock's interviews where he was asked about his penchant for long takes of close ups of Anthony Perkins while filming 'Psycho', particularly his angular jaw and its movements. Hitch said it was to further show the audience how bird-like 'Norman' was, but that his camera was just in love with Hopkins's expressions and ease with which he switched from mild-mannered to Mama. Fun fact: Tony Perkins's son Oz played one of Elle Woods's new friends at Harvard law school in 'Legally Blonde'. PS: When you two head to Europe, please consider going to Monaco for a little (Princess/Queen) Grace Kelly documentation! She fits right in with your Hitchcock group vlogs! LOVE "Rear Window" (Jimmy Stewart, Grace Kelly, Raymond Burr...) and THAT dress (navy blue w white tulle skirt) would look fanTABulous on Jessica!

Another fascinating video. I once had the pleasure of meeting Anthony in the mid 80s when he was here in England playing an English spy in a limited series called The Glory Boys. We chatted for awhile, and he told me he was having problems mastering an English accent. ( In the finished series, it was very good by the way!) He signed an autograph and wished me well. A terrific actor and a very nice man. We lost him far too soon.

Check out 'On the Beach' starring Perkins and several more big Hollywood hitters. He does a great job as a military officer who is facing the loss of civilization after a nuclear war and, on a much more personal note, that of his pregnant wife to radiation sickness. It's a sad look at the cold war fears I grew up with as a child, but worth that look.

A very endearing person was Anthony Perkins, and I love that you GriMMs chose to do an episode on him.... I had read a biography about Ms. Vampira (1st TV Glam Scream Queen), who was very good friends with Anthony Perkins back in the 50s. In the biography, it told that Vampira loved to play pranks on Mr. Perkins, and some are such Lou-Lous, that they cannot be repeated in this comment, but they sounded exceptionally fun.... hehe.... I wish I could have been around at the time to witness... Any-Hoo, I loved this episode, GriMMs, and the REAL heart felt slant that you took on it---- it shows, but good... Happy Halloween, and take care..... :^)"""""""""

Jessicas outfit is one of my favorites. Such a gorgeous video wow. I had wondered where his final resting place was. Thank you Grimms.

Ted Cassidy who played Lurch in the original Addams Family, had his remains buried in the backyard of his home. Come to think of it, I think you covered it aways back. I enjoy the videos you do ! Thank you!!

Love watching documentaries on Anthony Perkins. Learned a few years ago his wife was on one of the planes 9/11. May they all rest in peace.
