As a British guy with no hope of going to the States unless I magically come across a plane ticket and some money I cant think of a movie location more magic then standing next to the house from ET. To me it is THE film of my childhood-I am very grateful though to watch this video and join you remotely!

Mr Chopsticks, same here!! She doesn't understand what I am so fascinated about. I just love seeing where something (especially a movie like ET that had a huge impact on my childhood) was filmed, and maybe even letting my imagination go that the movie actually did happen at that location.

I grew up in that neighborhood. For years everyone was talking about the movie, park scenes, friends backyards that were in the scenes etc. We call that ET park where the caterpillar is. Also many homes were still being built and I remember riding our bikes through the neighborhood and dirt lots before walls were put up. Those homes on White Oak with the over hanging trees were some of the first homes in that area of the valley. They were “citrus” homes built for the orange pickers in early 1900s

Saw E.T. at a drive-in theater in Northern California in the summer of 1982. I remember that the sound was terrible, and from the angle of the car, we could see Poltergeist playing on another screen. Two bonafide classics were on at once. That's how it was back then. Great movies were coming out constantly. We saw E.T. at a proper indoor theater later that summer. A very vivid childhood memory. Will see if I can get out and see these locations soon. So blessed to live in Southern California where we can see all these places.

Hey just wanted to let you guys know that I love the way you find the exact angles and specific monuments to match it up your like a cinematic archaeologist (I just created that term if it doesn't exist LoL) my mind thinks the same way, on top of that literally all the eighties movies are my all time favs too as I'm pushing the dreaded 40, but. You got people out here hitting the member berries hard (South Park). And ive heard you mention Florida, I've been a little north of Tampa my adult life. Cheers keep up the freaking good work. Keep doing movies it's awesome, I've never seen someone do what you do and it rock's, don't stop you have found a great niche. Oh and we both walk the krft hand paths as it we're. Also saw your as above black hat on the dusk till dawn video. Salute

What an awesome addition!! I was so thankful to come across this, this morning. You really did look like Elliott!!! Wow!! That’s a huge Agave’ there at the beginning, on the right in the ground!!! That was one of C. Thomas Howells first roles.
