Now that all of the body panels have been removed, it's time for @thenotorious_a_r_t to get to work stripping down the rest of The Rust Buckit. With the goal of this project to get the car as light as possible, the big focus is on dropping all of the unnecessary pounds like the [surprisingly heavy] sound deadening material.
After that, Art and @corymezzenga got to work testing out new tools to get the rest of the exterior body panels mocked back up!

For those of you who've never screwed up like me, protect your windshield for grinder sparks. When they hit the class they are hot enough to melt into the glass, leaving you with little rusty spots in the glass when iut gets wet.

Is this going to be a legit rally car? You guys should put it in Ojibwe Forest Rally next year in August and see how it goes. I guess watching the video, it doesn't seem like this is a legit rally car. Oh well, it will still be fun to watch.

I'm guessing you'll be using spacers for the fitment of the wheels. What size will you be using? Mention that when you guys get to that part.

Yeah, we are planning on using spacers. 25mm on all 4 corners. We will cover it in a future episode!

Dry Ice is a waste of money. After many builds, it's all about a heat gun and scraper, then finish off with a solvent wipe down. You can eat off the metal it's so clean. $10 cheap heat gun and $3 metal scraper bets $$$ in ice.

If you live in the north you can just park it outside overnight in the winter when its about 10 degrees out, then it come off the same as dry ice for free.
