I've got a completely stock '05 Legacy GT wagon I need to replace the downstream cat on and for giggles I've been looking at one of these to replace it and the upstream cat. Would this just bolt in (with the adapter for the OEM exhaust) and run without needing anything else like a tune?

Will fit 05-09 manual 5MT Legacy's. For vehicles with VF40/46 turbos the wastegate divider tab may require modification in order to allow the internal wastegate to function properly. You will need a tune to run this safely and reliably.

Soo I purchased a V1 downpipe for my GR Wrx haven't installed it yet I'm wondering if it will throw a CEL, the design doesn't seem much different in comparison to V2

There is a possibility of throwing a CEL with the V1. Talk with your tuner to see what can be done.

Your downpipe work for greenspeed for the 2020 sti? Can't find a gesi downpipe that won't throw a cel!

We haven't had any issue on our 2020 STI throwning a CEL.

Does this prevent the CEL? I’d like to finally go stage 2 on my 2020 with no cat codes.

We don't have any CEL issues on our 2020 STI, But it is still relatively vehicle dependent. Check with your tuner to find out the best route to go with on your vehicle.

Curious why you went with a slip joint instead a pipe?

A couple of reasons. The main one being decreasing the cost of shipping by making the package more manageable. Another plus is making it an easier part to install.

Unfortunately not, the dump tube will interfere. You would have to modify it to work.

Since we no longer carry EWG's we can't confirm fitment. But we have heard it does contact the dump tube.

Two piece makes sense because of easy install and smaller packaging which leads to better shipping rates.
