I'm from Jersey and a huge Ars fan, but Okwerdz won clearly ONLY because of the material he had against Arsonal. All three of Arsonal's rounds could have been said in any battle against anyone. Okwerdz delivery was wack though. All he did was yell and had no creativity at all in my opinion. Not to mention his home crowd kind of saved him. If they didn't react after every time he yelled 75% of everyone's opinion here would be different.

I'm not even here to tell you who I think won... Cause in all honestly, it has nothing to do with a matter of opinion. Almost every punch OK threw was a haymaker, and nine out of ten landed! This was a beat down. A side from that, I still like Arsonal, he's dope. Regardless of who won, this is in my opinion, the single best battle ever. Shit was heated, crowd was dope, they both brought their A game and this was OK's debut into the top tier battle world. Classic!

@magusofthemoon what okwerdz was talking about at the beginning of his first round is why people dont like ars. They set hollow up and switched his opponent up last minute so he wasn't prepared and didnt have writtens for arsonal. Okwerdz said they tried to do it him too and in the battle against Pat Stay of king of the dot, he tried to change the time limit and shit during the battle.

I hated Okwerdz back then and I feel vindicated watching in 2023 . He aged horribly and you can tell that this was just a lot of gas from the “fresh coast “ crowd as soon as Ars said “ I’m from the east and the west look up to us” it’s was all over that crowd didn’t make a peep for that whole round.

100% agreed. I feel the same way about Dizaster; where I was a Freshmen in HS around the time of like MOB I thought he was the best. It’s weird seeing who has hung around. The “Fresh Coast” had a few really talented guys, mostly from LA, but many more hanger-oners. Ars is someone who I thought was kinda wack, I still do a little bit, but he is very talented at battle rap. I appreciate it more now. I feel like he can have at least a close battle with anybody, for whatever reason.

The issue was that Ars didn't bring a Grind Time style to the battle and he got smoked for it. Ars was using a SMACK format... that don't work in the Cali... so he lost.
