Thanks for subscribing!😊 in May 2021 at fagradalsfjall I sacrifised a drone - it fell straight into the lava because of overheating. And in August 2021 at the same eruption, the new drone got damaged by the heat and could not focus the image anymore🙈 at least this one did not fell into the lava and I could get it repaired;)

Phenomenal. And this is only the smallest glimpse of the absolute power and majesty mere meters below our feet and the core of our planet. We poor Homo sapiens: so myopic and arrogant that we wage wars against each other over petty, personal differences in beliefs. I dare say there is an infinity of room in this small crater of lava for ALL the differences we have, and more. The odds are not in our favor, I believe. I watched this video several times now and really wondered a lot about the processes behind this vulcano. I wonder how deep it is? How big is the magma chamber below the crater? How complex and intricate is the magma chamber system below? So many questions come to mind when observing this amazing wonder of nature.

you cannot walk to the eruption - the area is closed. however, the authorities are considering establishing a hiking path, but that may take some time. you can however walk on the paths at Fagradalsfjall. From path A, you can see the current eruption from a distance of approx 4km

@@triskel28 it is quite far and there is not so much to see - you just see the pieces of lava that are ejected above the crater rim. you do not see inside the crater. if you go in the evening, then you can see the glow very well. if you haven't seen an eruption yet, I'd recommend you go. if you have seen eruptions already and could even go close, then it might be a bit disappointing this time...
