Grinding Concrete for Our Freezer Room!

Жыл бұрынFirst we had a room of freezers. Then we started to make the jump to a walk-in freezer ... it was never operational. Now, we are back to a room of freezers. This time it will be a different room though, and more freezers!

Seems like you’ve made quite a few improvements to the farm. If I recall correctly, you started by building a house on your property. Would be cool to see a tour of the farm and explain the timeline of improvements you’ve made with buildings/structures, etc.

You are correct. We started out with no structures or fencing at all on our farm! That is a great video idea that I’ll work on.

You might want to see if they make a “food grade” epoxy or coating for that project.

That’s a good point! I’m going to do a little asking around at the lockers I use. They might have a suggestion.

No more than what divots and dips you have the epoxy should level out most of them . Good job btw,

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the way that it came out and think it will level out just fine. Really we just want something that will be easy to clean for the inspectors sake ;)

That is the eventual idea I think. The more I considered the self contained walk-in I had and the costs associated with getting it going the less I liked it. I always new my ultimate goal is to build a walk in freezer and that this wouldn’t get is there. On the flip side building this room for freezers will give us options for the future (an office, extra bedroom for guests, etc.) and when we are fully ready we can build the freezer that works best for us.
