Nuking my way to Tier 2 Drilling In Hydroneer 2.0

I haven't tried out Hydroneer until now as the 2.0 version has just come out. While the lack of inventory is a bit tedious I think I enjoy the game so far. Let's see how far we can take this mine.
In this episode I nuke some giant holes down to the tier 2 and tier 3 dirt and set up some tier 2 drills and harvesters.

Don’t feel bad about using the creative mode. I’m not convinced the base mechanics are refined enough to justify not using them.

I had a feeling from the previous video that this was going to be the last we saw of Hydroneer. I admire your stamina and determination.....(and your ability to edit out all the swearing)

6 hours of digging a hole and messing with pipes would likely not be a joy to watch :P

there is a "PICKAXE" mod that is ALMOST the equivalent of a nuke. MAN has it made my gaming experience SO much better! the nuke also destroys your mining helmet every single time.

Ya it was a fun time but by the sound of the irritation from the last vid although funny i wouldnt want you to as you said torture yourself. was fun to watch though. intrested to see the new series though subsistence. should be fun

Was it the game mechanics that discouraged you? The game has such potential, but there are so many frustrating/unplayable features.

I like the building aspect. The core mechanics are pretty small from what I can tell though. Mine things, craft things (optionally), sell things. It's like Factorio but with one main production chain vs. 100s.
