She was born and raised in Argentina. I'm latina and if I hear gringa, I think you are referring to an American. Her Argentinian accent is so strong the way she says maquillaje. Yep. definitely Argentinian.

@@GeroG3N You're being pedantic. She was living in the U.S. since the age of nine, so that would have a profound effect on her temperament and worldview. In fact, if I'm not mistaken, her own husband is a gringo. She is bicultural, and even if she was born in Argentina, her _Americanness_ is painstakingly obvious from interviews. I say this as a bicultural person myself who was born in Brazil and raised in the United States.

Si, eso es correcto. Pero no es el uso que se hace generalmente del término latino sino que se le da una conotación racial/étnica falsa e ignorante. Esto creado y exportado desde los EEUU, y alegremente adoptado por muchos ignorantes.

+Diego N efectivamente, el termino "latino" ha tomado un concepto muy erróneo. Lo mismo con "Hispano" los verdaderos hispanos están en España pero ya los gringos hasta se ríen si consideras a un español como "hispano", te van a decir, "ese es Europeo, no Hispano" lo cual es totalmente contradictorio.
