And once you have this straight piece of wire, you can bend and twist it into any shape you like👍🏻

This is fannnnntastic. The best way to straighten wire with out twisting the wire. Saved me $170.00 on a roller system. I am straightening wire to hang plants/orchids. Thanks Dude

This makes a straight wire that is work hardened. Depending on the alloy and the application, it may need tempering or other heat treatment to be useful.

Y'all should know, women think men throw the word "simple" around a lot. This is like a manual I bought a car on line. The man said manual but failed to also say transmission. So I'm blonde and said all cars have a manual in the glove box. I didn't know how to shift gears but my good looking neighbor did..now I have a bf and the car I've always dreamed of. 😏😏
@markzuckerfuck8302 Жыл бұрын
If you're old enough to buy a car but don't know what he meant by manual then that's on you lol. Not his fault you don't know much about cars or didn't ask more questions.

Do you know why that works with the pipe surrounding it? I can't straighten bed springs with a drill, and clamp. Any tips?
@leolimavideos Жыл бұрын
You don't need pipes for that, just lock on the vise and drill it, but springs are made of a very hard type of steel... I don't know if it works...
@therespectedlex9794 Жыл бұрын
@@leolimavideos Perhaps s a bigger, stronger drill. Definitely not a dremmel tool, as it wears away the collet.

I'll admit it's a simple trick to straighten a piece of wire, but not the simplest way... If you wonna go really basic you just stick one end in a vice, put a pair of sturdy pliers on the other end and give it a good yank or 2. It's that simple😇

Sorry but not convinced for strengthening tough cinks
@jimweisgram9185 Жыл бұрын
@@allanblount2449 neither am I, but I've used it plenty on 14 gauge wire or thinner and it works for me. I've not used it to remove kinks, so I don't know. Probably depends on the wire gauge.
@Xlaxsauce Жыл бұрын
Stretching it is easier, but that causes irreparable damage though it is minor damage. I think you'd have a hard time stretching the wire he was straightening

I call BS! Why do you need the pipe on the end to cover the rest of the wire? It's because there is a switch/cut/edit/slide of hand. He replaced it.
@JamesBrohard Жыл бұрын
You can even see the wire it's not the same wire when he put the cover on.
@simmcowaPang122 Жыл бұрын
The long pipe is so that the wire doesn't flop around and take your eye out or cut a groove in his bench
@davidmullins19059 ай бұрын
@@JamesBrohardNo. You can actually hold the other end with a pair of pliers and get the same result.
