ApexTallyFox Gripen has very low drag compared to other fighters.

vortex doesn't mean high drag, it means the aircraft included vortex generation devices like Leading Root Extension on Su-27, MiG-29, F-16, and F/A-18. in a high angle of attack such devices can create vortex to increase the airspeed over the wing to increase lift while in maneuvering making the plane capable of turning tighter. most modern fighters including Gripen has this features. that's why I'm assuming that in this show, the pilot didn't push the Gripen to maximum capability

They never show it's full capacity. That is correct. SwAF/Saab don't want to reveal the "enemies" Gripens full capacity. There's a "war mode" they NEVER show. 😎
