What an elegant horse, and though I have never gotten past schooling in dressage, I still love to watch and that woman is a very fine rider. She and the horse were obviously great partners.

What a magnificent specimen! So Majestic. In my minds eye, these Friesians are like the Doberman Pinscher of the show horse world. My wife has a Quarter Horse, but wants a Friesian more than anything.

I love the Friesian horses. The lady that rode this horse had complete control and the horses confidence. It's like a hand and hoof agreement. I do not know if horses can love us, but I really pray they can love us like we love them. Frederiik the Great is Great! Can anyone answer that question?

That was fantastic! The only thing better right now would be if I were riding. Wow he's fantastic. She has done a great job with him! And this folks is why I personally love dressage. Who will be his next trainer or I guess at this point since I've just now seen this it would be his current one

I think these horses are probably the most beautiful of all horses. I had loved Tennessee Walkers all my life and do notice the way this horse throws out his front legs .. he lifts high and extends beautifully.. is this natural? Are those weighted shoes?

I understand your point, but she is using spurs because she knows how to use them. Every horse is different; so some need that little push with a softer bit. The horse doesn't seem to be in pain, and spurs are often used in Dressage. I understand your point, though; some people don't know how to use them, but she seemed to know what she was doing.
