The real special force of NDU is the A-team. At least that was during my NSF times. Their training is not shown at all. I have seen them before as I was from Sembawang Camp... more tough than this.

This isn’t highly specialised training actually, it’s just the basic fitness and technical requirements to pass out as a diver. After this they’ll have to go for more specialised training which will be classified. You’ll find that other foreign armies also have similar basic standards for their divers.

The Singapore MOD Knows what theiy're doing.

zayyad31, actually to answer your question I would say that in Singapore, certain sections of the Government is restricted. Just like those HR / Management roles and positions in local public companies. Most of the time you could see Chinese Females, Chinese Males, Malay Females, Indian Males, Indian Females in office environment. Why? Because of companies especially like Noel Gifts, and Recruit Express who see Malay males as threats at the office. These people actually don't want the Malay men to mingle around with Chinese females.

But fit! I did stand side by side with a former Naval Diver. His biceps were huge (lots of protein, rowing and exercising). He was also taller than me (170cm vs 167cm). And yes, super fit!
