Your welcome. I was frustrated to find there were no reviews for this saw when I bought it... This was my 1st attempt at a you tube video. Not the best video but at least there is something now!

my grizzly still cuts great. I think Grizzly build quality has come a long way. I remember the JUNK they used to make, wouldn't even use it for a boat anchor! The two big reasons I went for Grizzly was the footprint (by many standards my shop is small) and the price. For sure SCMI is a better saw. No debate. Now, the Grizzly 12" long bed joiner with a helical cutter head.... this tool is BADD ASS in my book!

For me the best CNC machine is one someone else owns that I can get my work done on. My buddy has one and I sub out the work to his shop. Those things are not cheap and gobble up lots of space. Anyways, I'm happiest when using hand tools

agreed. I also think the tool does not make the craftsman. A true craftsman can create with most anything... it may take longer though!

Grizzly tools have come a long way since back in the day. They have a different fit and finish now than from back in the day. Is it a European saw.... no. I have a business to run and each tool I buy is a different choice based on pros and cons. I would also say some of the most talented craftsmen I know don't have top of the line, break the bank gear. Nothing can replace experience, dedication, skill and attitude.... not even a super fancy top of the line high dollar saw. I have to go to the shop now and keep building on two really important things.... experience and attitude.

Handfast Productions there’s an old adage that still applies today, you get what you pay for. I understand not having the best tools doesn’t define you, but with more money, you hope to get better quality. Tools can be a very competitive market and tool manufactures have to find ways to cut and stay competitive. But as a whole, I try and do my research to make an informed decision. I have my choices down to Felder or Altendorf. There is even better out there, but I have to eat too! Thanks!

@@tundrawhisperer4821 I used alot of brands. Grizzly is just as good for nearly everything needing done. Some of their features are cheesy, but overall a great value. I bought my intial stationary tools in 2007. Was at grizzly today, they have come a long way. If you can't make great projects with a grizzly, it's you, not the machine.

I am near retirement and am setting up my retirement shop. I only have 2400 sq ft so space is an issue. If your only a 1 man shop i would look at some of the Chinese brands. When i say Chinese brand you must understand that you will need to be careful with it. For example for a small one man shop a "SMV8D sliding table saw" can be purchased from china for $2400 USD. Obviously shipping and tariffs will come into play, but it is still very cheap. It is NOT an altendorf and you will have to be careful with it but it will work. Expect at least 3 days to get it set up and squared.

I started out in my one car garage! I know it, trust me. I made 2 transitions to bigger spaces. I always waited for the shop to be too small for 3 years before moving to insure it was justified. I've seen too many people go bust from upgrading everything to fast then work slows down and BOOM, all has changed
