Don’t Tell the Bride is a wedding show like no other; instead of the wedding you want, it’s the wedding you’ll never forget - hopefully for all the right reasons! Each episode follows a couple through the entire process of organising a wedding, but the twist is that the bride has absolutely no involvement. For better or for worse, she has agreed to hand overall control of the wedding to the groom. She has no idea where she’s getting married, who is turning up or even what she is wearing until the big day itself. The couples are separated for the month leading up to the big day and the groom has to pull off the whole thing in secret. Will the relationship survive the strain? Will the groom succeed in pulling together the perfect wedding? And is his idea of perfection anywhere near hers?

Its like asking why do men marry women who end up abusing their money or lacking maturity. It happens often, unfortunately, both men and women can lack maturity and be completely selfish towards their partners, and sometimes their partners either put up with it because they are afraid to be alone or attached to them emotionally.

If she had organised everything, I am pretty sure she would have given the boys and the girls a good evening of fun and enjoyment. Come to think of it, so many of these men in all the series have a problem with selfishness and immaturity. Sad. Big thumbs up to the Grooms who actually got it right.

He would have been kicked to the curb if it was me. I was 17 when my husband and I got married in 1981. He was 19 at the time. We never had a wedding, honeymoon or anything. My husband was in the Army at the time and his battalion was on alert since they could be deployed to war. We got married at the court house and we spent $11 on our marriage license. We just had our 43rd anniversary in oct. If my husband acted like this groom did, he would have been booted to the curb big time.

What a child! So selfish! I am absolutely discussed with him and his mates were just as bad. He spends 3k on his stag do and 27 pounds for the hens party to the local pub were they had to pay for their own transport and had to pay for their own drinks too?? Then he has a melt down cause he has no money? Geee I wonder why??
