Its so refreshing to see a PROPER groomer on youtube. I have yet to see someone with as much knowledge as you and its amazing! Im a groomer myself and I love to learn more, expecially about poodles as I am planning to have a show poodle in the future! Keep it up you deserve so much for these very educational and CORRECT ways to groom dogs!

Wow! Amazing to watch such skills! In Sweden we call this cut a T60 (toilet 60). I particularly enjoyed how you showed the principals for cutting (body of naked dog, the square etc. this really explained very well what lines you strive for! Magnificent job! Thanks for posting this!

I really appreciate the safety warnings given as so many other videos leave me wondering how many dogs are injured by people trying to copy grooming videos without consideration or knowledge of what is most important to know before you begin - safety!

I have groomed my poodle for all of the 10 years I had it with ordinary scissors. I am so terrified of clippers and so is she (understandable, she was never conditiomed to them). I found sheep shearing clippers (bit large) and clipped her face. It took an hour, but she got used to it. These videos are such an inspiration. And so detailed too.

This is the size standard poodle 🐩 I have, she's only 35LBS and she's 5yrs old Poppy is her name, I'm in America ,they use 2 different names, the 1st is called The Klien and the other name they use is Moyer, I'm pretty sure that is the correct spelling of the 2nd name ,the other video I just watched, I could not remember the dang name, lol I knew I'd remember the 2nd name ,ohhh boy ,I'm a brand new subscriber to your channel,,,and I'm thankful for this ,miss Kitty ,you are a great teacher, thank you very much ❤, I'm retired from animal grooming ,my body can not physically do the job anymore and it breaks my heart ,it was the best job I ever had ,I left being a nurse to become a animal groomer and that's a big deal ,I'd rather work with animals than human beings 😀 🐾‼️❤🤍💙 best job I ever had ,but only 2 9f us who worked ,and we did not have a set of steps and I'd just pick up the dig all by myself, no newbies lifting alone !! But 100 pound dog was nothing for me to pick up ,the other problem was that I'm only '5 2' and I weighed 120pounds being so short ,I had to step up on a homemade 3 inch wooden step, of course I'd pick up the dog 1st and then step up on the board up on my tippy toes and lift so the dogs legs got into the bathtub ,the tub was right at my boobs lol so heeve hooo up we go ,sometimes I'd get into the bathtub with the taller dogs like the great Dane, lord I was like a robot go go go go ,2 of us in the shop & I didn't want to bother my boss ,she got mad at me for not asking for her help ,ohh I did try going back to grooming but no way I could physically do it ,what a dang shame on my part ,and I just lost my emotional support dog Smeagle, he was a good boy and now I'm on dog # 12 in my entire life ,my sunny Giulies dogs included would make 13 dogs ,yikes 🐕 lol my father called my house the zoo ,I had 2 cats and 3 dogs ,now after the loss of my dryers DONT work lol go help him out and move onto the next doggo. Love ya to the moon and back !!! So I envied myself lil our Creator has a plan for us all..blessings to each one of youand your family's stay safe and healthy, this means you yes you lol 😆 ❤ you'll never know how much I appreciate you all on this Chanelle and your kind comments ❤

In Germany we call the medium poodle"Kleinpudel", what means small Poodle, and the clip wie calll the Modern Clip, bzw. Moderne Schur. The T_Clip is an other one, with no long hair on tail and ears.

Around the 13m mark: I especially like how you stretched her lips. I've seen so many clips of groomers putting there fingers in the flews and this terrifies me. I shall try your method and avoid getting my fingers chomped on haha.

In your diagram point of withers should be above point of elbow in a Poodle, this diagram makes the dog back jaw over his elbow, I know it's only adoagra. But a bit off imo. Great video (depending on breed of course this would be more terrier like)

This is the type of Poodle I just added to my family. I like this cut and also the Teddy Bear cut. I really love to keep the hair long! But in the summer I might have to go short since we hike a lot. Have you seen the pony haircuts? Those make me laugh 💚 Thank you so much for your amazing videos. If I can groom my poodle 1% as well as you do it, I’ll be excited!!! How often would you bathe a Poodle who swims in the river a few times a week and also lives in a place with 9 months of rain? Here in Portland, Oregon, USA, I hike with my dogs year round and they get wet!! So far I have been calling my puppy a “soggy Poodle!” Makes me think he might need conditioner more often or a spray conditioner? I bathe my Great Pyrenees mix once every 4-6 weeks as she hates it (she had mange before I adopted her and had to have daily medicated baths 😢). She also swims in the river 3-4 times a week and her coat stays very clean and healthy. I fostered a standard poodle many years ago and got a taste of how this hair is different. So I wonder what you recommend? Thank you!
