I'm pleasantly surprised that these two Bernese Mountain siblings are adopted together by the same person. I hope they have a lot of space to run where they live; they're beautiful, sweet and intelligent herding dogs. Thank you for making them feel clean and good for their new life.

I’m a retired groomer from Canada We had a Bernese who would jump up on the table as soon as he came in the shop!. Even if there was a dog already there! They sure are nice dogs So proud of the hard work you do!

I like all your videos but this one was good for me as I have a tri-colour Shetland Sheepdog who is like a small version of these guys in terms of the coat. He's a rescue and his coat was matted before I got him so would've been through a similar grooming process. Lastly, he also has a human name of Rupert!

One month ago I adopted a Newfoundland. He’s only quite young. After two weeks of him being with us, and me giving him a gentle brushing for about ten minutes everyday, to help him get used to it, he went to his first proper grooming session with a wonderful lady here in the UK. Even though I had brushed him everyday, the change in him was astonishing after this grooming. I hardly recognised him when I went to collect him. There he was, lying I’m the sunshine, with his fur glistening in the sun, so calm and so relaxed. I had spent those two hours just driving around, so worried if he was going to be ok, and not getting too afraid. I had nothing to worry about at all. He is now so happy as part of our family, which also includes our sweet English pointer, who was also a rescue dog and has been with us for two years. They are the best of friends. But the advise here is so right. Please don’t buy a dog such as the ones mentioned in this video unless you really do know what you are doing. Our Newfoundland is wonderful, but takes so much hard work to keep well, understand his character and get him to heal from the things he had experienced before being rescued. Fortunately I had owned giant breeds for over forty years. Usually Great Danes, but also other types. They are not dogs that you simply feed, give a hug to and walk once a day. They are a 24 hour a day commitment. It’s just that some of us enjoy living our lives like this. These Burmese are wonderful. How sad that their owner died. I wish them many happy years together with their new owner. Thank you so much for helping them on their new life journey.

I am from the US.We live in Florida for the winter.We knew a dog trainer who got a call for help with their two Burmese puppies.The couple were in their eighties. They ended given them up to the trainer.

Beautiful dogs and they look lovely after the groom but I do think they were too big to be expected to stand on 3 legs whilst you did the paw pads 😮

With a Bernese you should plug the tub and have him sit in it or lay down till he is soaked. Drain the water add shampoo then plug up again for soap out. You might have to rinse a couple times but you won’t waste all that water. Like you are doing. Hope this helps for next time.

My parents live in the US Mid-Atlantic, so it can get hot. Lemme tell you, they stopped being stingy on the AC during the summer when they started getting Berners.

I know rule in get a thick coated dog if it's really hot during summer but my daugher mobility service dog for my daughter who's wheelchair bound a husky a breed that can push her when shes tired when im not there to help and to help her with day to day activities what cut do recommend for a husky

Not equipped for large dogs but nice to take them on. Needed more attention and assistance after it slipped off of the table at the start. Leaving equipment on the table, sharp scissors etc, when not in use, is bad practise as it is dangerous. It was even more noticeable with a big dog on the table.

I’m so uncomfortable with that constant panting, it’s short haired dogs for me. I had a German Shepard / pit bull mix, but the constant shedding drove me mad. Next, a pit bull / boxer mix found his way to me and I am hooked. Best dog ever! Of course, I have a few acres of land for this high energy madman to exhaust himself on.

You guys are great. Why not invest in better bathing system? It would use less resources (water, shampoo & time) there are many good ones. Even if you used a car wash nozzle it would save a lot...just saying
