Desty Auralya, better known by her stage name Desciya, hails from Pontianak, a city rich in cultural heritage in West Kalimantan, Indonesia. Desty embarked on a journey that led her to the pinnacle of success in the electronic music world.
Born into a music-loving family, Desty was introduced to the sounds of music at an early age. Her talent became evident when she decided to pursue higher education in Yogyakarta. There, she not only focused on academics but also honed her musical skills at Purwacaraka Music School, particularly in playing the violin. Although initially centered on classical music, Desty began to develop an interest in exploring more modern music styles.
