A post-apocalyptic Trotter-Mobile takes flight! In this video we look at kit bashing from scratch - pulling everything together to make the slowest Ork vehicle known to man - a juggernaut of mediocre killing power!

Gaslands is a good game for kit bashing. I've made two robots for a crazy wasteland cult out of left over bits and pieces from several models as well as some ships for Stargrave (cause I'm too cheap to go out and buy any). I'll be slapping together a few of these bad boys for This Is Not A Test. Scrap metal air balloons floating over the wastelands will look great. Getting massive wasteland air pirate ideas!

Sorry to hear about your condition. I have a degenerative disease that has affected my spine and my limbs. I have no normal feeling on the left side of my body, my hands get numbness and tingling and my hands shake badly. I also live in chronic severe disabling pain that affects my back and legs. On top of that my eyesight is really poor and slowly getting worse. Miniatures are very therapeutic for me. They distract me so I'm not just focused on my pain. I find it very hard to paint at the moment and am concerned that it will get worse over time. I appreciate what your doing and have become a subscriber.

You know...Turnip28 has a faction that revolves around a big hot air balloon. Given the grungy and ramshackle aesthetic of Turnip28 in general, many of these techniques would work fairly well applied there. Use a lot more toothpicks and popsicle sticks to build the basket frame. Load it up with some modified historical miniatures. Simple as.

Thats class mate, great work. Are you aware of the Ak interactive weathering pencils ? Not used them myself but they are supposed to be really good. A youtube model builder called Festa67 used them recently in a vid. He is a top bloke and builder with MS. They might be a good option for edge highlights as well as weathering.
