I remember as a kid the white Sunoco bike that Dave had at the pro star race in Atlanta. I was as that race every year. I remember the last time I watched Elmer trett on his top fuel bike! Lots of great memories and love to see the sport carrying on

Pro stock bike has been a joke ever since they allowed two cylinder Buells and Harleys in. Constant rules to create the impossible. Parity. And the rule changes seemed to benefit the slug Harleys. What was there, one Suzuki winning the championship in the last 17 years or whatever? Every championship Hines and Krawiec won should have an asterick behind it. I would bet there were some politics behind the pseudo success of the Harleys also. American over Japanese, yada,yada,yada. 75% of Harley riders are low lifes anyway. When everyone was running 4 cylinder Suzukis there was parity. Not to mention, the sound of two Suzukis sreaming down the track was music two the ears. It was like an F1 car back when they ran V8s. But that's another story. Don't ask me what I really think.

@CycleDrag I've been out of the loop for some years, Maple Grove used to be a 5min drive for me so I never missed an event. Also Englishtown for years. Schultz was my man for good reason. Then the Screaming Eagle team. I have been keeping my eye on Ryan. That's who I'd pick for this year. He's got good form, very well focused, not too mention it would be great to see his father win with his engine building. And also the v-twin.

What happened to Angelle, my guess same problem To many Red lights with often the fastest bike, bad racing judgement !!! She must have 20+ Red light loses in her career, I've never seen a Top RS rider have and I've been following this sport since 1979' from NMRA, IDBA, NHRA, IHRA, ProStar, AMA !! just a stupid question: why these wheelie bar bikes are not faster than non bar bikes? the non bar bikes official record is 6.3@233 and 5.9@229 for the unofficial one, so I think these wheelie bar bikes should easy reach 6s something mark and even better without lots of effort but what I see here is not what I thought. Can someone explain?

I heard all of harley production was moving to China to manufacture and assembly for the full line up of the once American made icon. Now a sell out to foreign country.All companies that have left u.s.a to save a lil money,have all eaten crow once productions have started back up after the moves. Harley 2014 street glide special w/limited paint job Moroccan gold pearl, I bought brand new and they stooped to a level that I could not believe.My bike had only 3miles on it.The day it was delivered to shop it was being removed on a skid from a flat bed diesel trailer by forklift and the operator had lifted it began backing away from trailer and not paying attention his forks were dropping and the skid hung up on trailer and pulled the forks out of skid an bike nosed driver right in to concrete .They hid that bike did only cosmetic damage and they put it out on floor an I bought it not knowing.It was never reported to corporate and the parts were assigned under the radar. The bike was taken back 6x wanting them to look at it ,all the while they all knew why it felt like you were side saddling it. 3months in to it, I came close to death when I had let go of bars to loosen chin strap a lil and boom bar to tank slap instantly full on speed wobble at 15miles an hr. I was headed nose in to a fire hydrant.Been ama motocross racer and dragbike racer.30years on bikes at that point.Took to a outside HD shop and told them I wanted the bike looked at an let me know.45min. Later I find that the backbone was bent on frame, stop block crushed into frame tube 3/8 of inch, right fixed fork tube was 7mm out of tru . Top triple clamp had a fracture in it.. I sued those fuks and those low lifes tried to say I crashed it and wanted them to fix free. B.A.R. association ,dmv , hiway patrol , got involved .I got all investment back and over 8500 in extras and our leathers helmets and bots refunded.They should have been closed for good I felt.. Harley is crooked and they are thieves... Now I have a full dragrace pro street build and its a Suzuki . Never forget about the evidence that I gathered on that dealership and all they could do is try to flip it in to my lap ,knowingly they did it.I smashed them.They were so worried about the thing being fixed they did not do the 150point inspection that legally must be cleared before it can be sold.Never did it an thats what got me the win..I hope it becomes a thing of past now that China is its place of birth.Not American for many years now. It shows

Hearing Antron talk about the 1/4 mile would have been low 4.30's. That would be awesome to see. I miss 1/4 drag racing. I dont know why, but i just cannot bring my self to watch this 1000ft racing. Before this, I watch NHRA hard core for many years.

Why can't the NHRA figure out what tracks they can SAFELY get back to running 1/4 miles? Not all NASCAR tracks are the same. Not all Indy or Formula 1 courses are the same Make some 1000ft and some 1/4 mile.
