A fine example using the E6-B for calculation. I have the same E6-B as you have, and I discovered that the same "EXPO dry erase" that you have works much, much better than the pencil, makes a non-permanent mark and easily wipes off with fingers, soft cloth, toilet paper, facial tissue. Your lessons are terrific! Thanks.

TC + - WCA (calculated with wind from True North)= TH + - VAR =MH + - DEV= CH. You converted TC to MC by adding variance, but you didn't convert the winds aloft (which are always given in True) to magnetic. Therefore your wind direction is off by 7*. Correct? Or did I miss that class on winds aloft conversion?

I think you are correct. I was just watching this video and I had to watch it again. The NavLog provided should convert winds to magnetic OR it should use true wind to calculate TC, then factor in the WCA to obtain TH, then convert the TH to MH, then apply the DEV and finally the CH.
