The story of Group B, the most insanely dangerous racing series ever known to man. There were virtually no restrictions and the series produced some of the most crazy race cars ever. Group B was so dangerous that it only lasted four seasons before it was abruptly cancelled after a number of crashes resulting in driver and fan fatalities.

Fun fact the reason they found fingers in the cars was because people would try to touch the windows of the cars whilst they hurled past, because they often drove with open windows the fingers and hands would get sliced off

Plays some dirt, tries out the Group B cars. Is halfway into 3rd gear at just the tap of a pedal. Slamming into walls and flying off cliffs seconds later.

The problem was not Group B per se, but primarily the issue of crowd control or indeed the complete lack of it. Drivers choose to do this work and are at least aware. I just fail to understand why you would want to stand well within range of these missiles.

Someone invent a new group b that doesn't allow spectators but will allow drone to fly along to the car to livestream the race

R.I.P. Henri Toivonen,the greatest driver with the most talent that none really know about to this day,go watch henri's footage in a sunbeam 1980 rac,my first ever time i saw him with my own eyes,boy he could make that sunbeam dance,he was a joy to watch,id say our dear colin was nearly as good as henri he was that good
