Nigel Mansell once said the t16 accelerated quicker than his Williams. Lol thats making an awful lot of progress. I feel lucky to have watched group b as it happened. Walther Rules 🤣🤣

Hannu Mikkola said in an interview, that once they were testing near a F1 race, and their test road has the same length, and they went only 4 secs worse than the F1 race laptime.... And they were testing on gravel.

I love the s1. But also all other Cars are like from another planet. Respect to every single mechanic and driver. They changed everything and brought so much joy to the fans. Im sure some drivers today wouldnt exist today without this Inspiration.

The pinnacle of rally, Group B. Indeed very dangerous but in the quest for pure performance it should be expected. Wish that Toivonen, Bettega, Cresto and those spectators in Portugal were still with us.

2:00 I hate it when people think torque and horsepower are different things. Group B has not as much power as an F1, but it has that power at much lower rpm, because of the higher torque. But in the end, it's only the horsepower figure that counts

Horsepower can't be measured. But since horsepower is simply related to torque and revolutions, it's simple to calculate horsepower from these 2 variabels. torque and power are always related, It's a complete mistake to talk about them as if they are 2 seperate units. And while horsepower is representive for the performance of an engine, torque is just a meaningless number on itself. But it is very interesting to have a chart with the torque shown in relation with rpm and the power it results in! google "power chart engine"

believe me, torque and power are 2 things that are easily mixed up and its not easy to understand, even for me. google "tesla power graph" and study that, the characteristics of an electric motor is less complex. And in case of energy: if an engine produces the same power over a wide range of rpm, the torque drops in that rpm range linear. This means that despite the loss of torque, performance will be identical in low and high rpm, but efficiency will drop

It has viewing restrictions on it for some reason so it wont play on some phones, games consoles or set top boxs. Should play fine on a pc or laptop though.
