For those wanting to try this, don’t add any fertilizers, instead use worm castings. Meaning worm poop! :) As for the soil Noringo uses, it’s too coarse and not at all good for tree rooting because it will rot if left like that. Another issue here is for the pot. Make sure it has at least 15 inches or more space to grow downward and you are golden. Other tree’s are less finicky about the pots! :) Good luck out there growers!

I was about to comment about the fertilizers too, but not because I know why, just a hunch from my experience. I have never plant cherries (pretty sure they can't grow in my country).

I just found your channel! Thanks for showing your success as as well as your failures. Too often gardeners only show harvest. We dont see struggle in the middle stages, so we don't know how to deal with wind, rain, heavy plants, and pests. THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR NEW SUB! PLEASE DONT GIVE UP! YOU CAN DO IT!

Gosto muito de cerejas! Quero plantar. Que bom que você fez vários testes pra mostrar que não dão certo
@Yurei_Dokuro2 жыл бұрын
I really love how much of efforts you always put in one single video! Well wishes from Bangladesh 🇧🇩🤍🦢

I’ve always been told by my dad that too much fertilizer can burn the plant. And since some plants have different needs than others, too much or too little acidity in the water or soil can change the way seedlings grow.

Hello, I'm from Mexico it appears that there is a small white microscopic visitor naturally in the soil, that eats the seeds, I would recommend you to boil the soil. The small parasite is unable to eat the greened leafs that's why the green germinated seeds did make it.

Noringo I have 2 questions for you. Are you a farmer by profession or you grow these plants just as a hobby? How do you know what conditions each plant need?

Sempre quando eu plantava sementes separadas elas morriam, depois que eu passei colocar as sementes todas juntas elas germinaram e não morreram. Acho que ficam mais fortes se forem plantadas juntas

What month do we plant cherries in Aruba, Germany?
@noringo2 жыл бұрын
Is it warm all year round? In that case, I think you can plant it anytime.
@colonelcat86392 жыл бұрын
If a plant has too much fertilizer, and you cannot remove the source of that fertilizer, simply water the plant more to dilute the nutrients and have them drain out. Also fair warning: while the cherry seeds you plant may be a fun experiment, your plant will not be true from seed. This means that your tree will be a different variety from the parent tree and may lack disease resistance and climate adaptability of the parent. it will also take a long time to grow a tree from seed. If you want a decent fruit, try taking a cutting of about 0.25-0.5m and dip the cut end in rooting hormone, and stick it in soil after making a hole with a finger. Make sure the plant is humid while it grows roots (cover it in a large cellophane bagpropped up with a stick or sprig of bamboo. The rooting process can take between 90-120 days. For better results, take the cutting in the spring months and make sure at least 2 nodes contact the soil. To prevent rotting make sure your cuttings can callus at cut areas for a day. If all goes well, you should have a near-identical genetic copy of the parent plant. Even here, it will take 3-4 years to get to a size that bears a decent amount of fruit. (Apricots, peaches, and nectarines grow true from seed after stratifying for about 90 days or 3 months.)
@justgivemethetruth2 жыл бұрын
What is "stratifying"?
@oi-nf9uz2 жыл бұрын
@@justgivemethetruth mimicking the conditions a seed needs to grow, for most stone fruit like peaches and cherries this involves them getting a few weeks or months of cold before spring. You can put them in a refrigerator or outside in the winter in soil.
