The Mane Choice Products are really great for ethnic hair. I'd suggest you try their Ancient Egyptian Line as well ass their tropical moringa leave in. Their best product is the 3-in-1 Conditioner. For our hair type at least. Alikay Naturals Shea Yogurt works wonders! Pay attention to your curl pattern after your next wash day. Oh and these products also smell bomb

EfikZara Greetings! I’m just curious after watching one of your other videos where do you purchase the Shea moisture low porosity leave-in/ detangler as I see the link for it from Amazon which seems like its overpriced for an 8 oz bottle, but it also seems to be a discontinued product possibly and that maybe why the price is so high? I can’t seem to find it ANYWHERE else other than that one Amazon seller and I’m apparently late in the game because seems like this line first came out about three years ago? Any insight on this? Any recommendations for a comparable product? Thanks love!

Bianca a youtuber speaks about hair says diva curl has relaxer ingredient, an absolutely took the hair out you can see their scalp and they had no curls it was slightly curled and the hair didn't look the same at all I'm glad I never tried it.

@@KeptAnnointed sulfur 8 is mostly ised as a medicine I think to heal dandruff, but I've seen things (you can look this up) about mixing sulfur and doo gros for hair growth.

I have low porosity hair too so I love sulfates because build up is so real and so uncomfortable but I always make sure to bring that moisture back in with oils and deep conditioners!!

my hair type is 4a/b/c so i just like to say type 4 because it's different around my head, i have high density course natural hair, it's also extremely low porosity, and i use most of the same products you use and honestly it's been helping me grow my hair a lot

FINALLY someone who can attest to the horrid mess that is Eco-Styler for some folk's hair! OMG. I've used it for years and every time, my scalp is on fire---itchy and dry. I also broke out once. I thought it was other products, tried adding oil, even tried using the ones that say it has "moisturizers" in it... Same outcome. My actual hair dried out and my natural curls were crunchy and stringy looking. Thank you thank you thank you for mentioning alternatives... The shelves at the beauty supply are DOMINATED by the Eco-Styler...Like literally cannot get away from it.

Thank you for sharing. I just did the big chop (this past weekend) and am trying to figure out how to care for my 4C hair. It’s a new experience but I’ve always wanted an Afro and now I have a TWA. I also have a sensitive scalp so I’m cautious about this new leg of my hair journey. I’ve begun with the Carol’s Daughter line: shampoo, conditioner, leave-in, coil enhancer. I’m going to use these but am on the hunt for products for low porosity hair. Sulfur 8 is my grease of choice and I hope to find products to aid in moisture. The hair is dry, crunchy, and the curls aren’t present. I appreciate these videos as I am relearning and your candor is refreshing. I look forward to learning as much as I can. I am glad (as I’m sure others are too) that you are standing along side me in this new endeavor.

I have high porosity medium density 3c hair. My favorite products are Camille Rose Love moisture milk and Mielle babusu and mint deep conditioner. I also use the shea Moisture yogurt and honey protein conditioner when I use protein every other month.

Let me just say, for years I had a chronically sore, itchy, dandruff producing scalp. However, once I stopped using anything w sulphate I have NEVER had that problem again, after decades of suffering. My scalp was literally allergic and inflamed but no more.

I had low porosity hair as a relaxed girl and now natural lol still low porosity.. serenity has a mind of her own .. my problem is that I listened to my sister and dyed my hair and the crunchiness makes me want to cut the color out . I absolutely love sulfur 8, blue magic and Aussie products especially the miracle moist .. I wanted to try the melanin black soap shampoo .

Hey 👋🏾 so I have a mixture of all type 4 curls in my hair. My hair has become very low maintenance since I got a routine. Currently I’m braiding my hair because I found that during this period I was constantly pulling and placing my roughness on my hair putting it away was the best option. Even though my hair is in braids I am still keeping it moisturized and washing it.

I recently started using motions daily oil moisturizer or African pride Shea butter miracle leave in with blue magic & my 4b/4c hair is in love! I finally found something my hair agrees with. Just keeping it simple & going back to what my mom use back in the day

Simply Temie I apply it on wash day on wet hair after I condition. I put my hair in 2 strand twists or do a simple style & let it air dry (sometimes/seldom I use a blow dryer with the attachment & do twists or a style) To maintain moisture I usually put warm water in a bottle and spray my hair or start off with dry hair before applying moisturizer then I use grease as a sealant. Throughout the week I have twists, a puff, or style. Right now I have mini twists that I revamp if they start to look or feel dry. Hope that helped!

I absolutely LOVE nizoral shampoo. It gets rid of dandruff so quickly. And you just use small amount on your scalp , leave it for 5 minutes and rinse
