That's one way to keep rabbits and ground hogs out of the garden. You still have to contend with slugs, snails, and beetles. You could also use food grade buckets. They'll be more durable and reusable. If you do the bucket, you can have peppers out the bottom and herbs on top, or even flowers, chives, or strawberries. Nice work! Nice peppers!

There was a bag marketed to people who wanted to grow tomatoes a few years ago. Tomatoes were shown growing upside down, when I tried it the tomatoes just made a 180 turn and grew up anyway.

Thank you, I like the way this method uses recycled grocery bags and bottles and could easily adapted to grow on a chainlink fence where there isn't soil available as well as taking advantage of vertical growing. Really cool and really hot!

The only problem i see with that is those holes expanding and ripping due to the weight (especially wet soil), the contents coming crashing down! Plastic bags, at least in the states, aren't that durable (a single or two 2 little bottle of drink is known to go thru them) even if doubled or tripled. Otherwise, it's a great idea to repurpose.

Won't plastic bags in direct sunlight dry out and fall apart no matter how much water you add to it daily? I would think they would require less watering as well in form as water would not be absorbed and pulled away from the plant as if it were in the ground.

There is no bad smell at all, because when you fertilize the fish and then cover it with soil, the fish will decompose and create nutrients for the plants.
