Growing dragon fruit Pitaya from seeds.

Again, this time I attempt to grow dragon fruit/Pitaya from seeds.
This needs virtue patient, as you are growing a cactus!
The first few months hardly have any big growth, but once the roots establish, it grow much faster.
I only cover the first eight months. As the plant keeps growing, I will upload the progress.
Watch out for Part 2 next year ! At present of writing , is May 2023

I’m growing a pineapple because of your video. I’ll definitely be growing dragon fruit asap. I’ve put it off for quite some time because the pineapple now takes up so much space. But this looks like fun.

Very informative and good video. I have tried growing dragon fruit ( from cuttings) and have got the yield. I also learned that this is time consuming. That's why I didn't try to grow from seeds 😅 Moreover, a tip: cut some of the shoots from the base. It is because when they will grow together they will have competition and will not be able to produce fruits. Try rooting the cuttings and growing them again. Your well wisher.

Yes , I did cut off most of them and left with 3 bigger stems. Now I focus on this 3 stem and hopefully sometime in future , it bears fruits.

help! my seeds have sprouted alas, they are not growing larger. they are about one centremetre in length. what ever shall I do to get them growing please. Thank you

Nothing , just patient, the first few months is a slow process, very slow.
