I've been to Ray's Farm and toured it with him. He's a humble guy that enjoys sharing his knowledge. As someone who has joined his lettuce class, the content is very detailed and the Q&A's he provides allows the ability to fill in the gaps with any questions you may have. Highly recommend!

Ray and Diego I enjoyed your video. Thanks for your time and effort. If the "weed bank" counted as gold, i'd be rich.... Trying to work toward part of the garden in permanent beds, without plastic, but not there yet. Takes years to cover the sins of the past. Diego, I would really like to see a whole farm tour of Jean Martin Fortier's new farm. What is working, What is not? What are they experimenting with? Pest control? Pigs, Cattle, chickens. I asked them what was available and they sent me a bunch of documentaries that are in French and I'm a Dumb American.... Thanks!

Great video! Thanks! Why do you not choose to heavily mulch with wood chips in a permaculture manner, rather than using all that landscape fabric? Wouldn’t that achieve the same goals as the landscape fabric but with the added benefit of adding nutrients to the soil from the decomposing wood chips? Please clarify.

I'm not seeing where you are seeding, transplanting, or harvesting after May 7th. Looks like there is nothing May through late October.

at 21:00 wish he talks about surface temps. The fabric was hot and under was cooler, but the fabric is black and blasted by the sun while under is shaded with drip line..... Not exactly sure that if the fabric was not there it would be a big temp change from 81degrees. Is anyone seeing that much of a difference?

I think that probably depends on your market stream and geographic location. I could make a case why this would and would not work better in a recession.

Don't hire a consultant go to your local coop or agriculture extension and get A soil sample they are free consultants and they are payed for with your tax dollars
